Emily Tillman (b. 1996) is an artist from Ormond Beach, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Fine Art in Painting in the fall of 2018 from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She is currently residing in Jacksonville, Florida.
Emily has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions throughout Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Southern France.
My abstract paintings are a product of my boundless creativity and willingness to explore unconventional artistic materials. With complete freedom and a penchant for experimentation, I paint from various perspectives and angles until the artwork resonates with a sense of wholeness. In my process, I employ a diverse range of tools, ranging from brushes to my own hands, and utilize pouring techniques to add layers of paint that lend depth and complexity to the final product. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, architectural marvels, and the soul-stirring melodies of music, my paintings possess an emotive and personal quality that captivates viewers and reveals the depth of my passion.
